The Grade I listed #TempleMills has been put on sa The Grade I listed #TempleMills has been put on sale by auction, with a starting price of just £. Built in 1836 for mill owner John Marshall, in a unique Egyptian style inspired by his visits to Egypt. To maintain the necessary humidity in the building, the roof was once covered with grass and used grazing sheep. The internal pictures are from a Trust visit in 2010 - and show the roof of the staff canteen and the large weaving room. Lets celebrate its unique #heritage and hope a buyer who loves its idiosyncrasies as much as us is successful. #leedssouthbank #holbeck
