But that’s not all. We’re thrilled to announce that the very first issue of our brand-new members’ magazine is ready to fly into your hands! At our Annual General Meeting, we invited members to help choose a name for the magazine. We went with The Owl, which was the clear favourite. The name not only symbolises wisdom, heritage, but it also represents Leeds itself, echoing the owl found on the city’s coat of arms and, of course, Leeds Civic Trust’s logo!
This exciting debut edition celebrates our 60th anniversary, brimming with fascinating articles, milestones, and developments from the past six decades.
As a bonus, your postal drop will also include a printed copy of this year’s Heritage Open Days booklet, so you can start planning your visits for this year’s festival.
