We were delighted to be joined by so many members, old and new, at our 60th Anniversary Party at Left Bank.
At the party, we launched our Oral Histories project, which documents the work and influence of Leeds Civic Trust over the last 60 years through interviews with longstanding members and partners. Click here to watch a teaser compilation.
Our members marvelled at a two-tier cake made by Jodie Bakes featuring Leeds Civic Trust Illustrations by Megan Dobbyn cast in icing.
Our Chair Jenna Strover led a Q&A with Leeds historian and Director of Leeds Civic Trust 1987-2016, Dr Kevin Grady.
We were served delightful seasonal vegetarian food by Food With View.
We ran activities asking people what areas of Leeds they would like to develop, what demolished buildings they would bring back, what they would like the Trust to do in the next 60 years, and more!
