We received 84 entries to our Leeds400 Art Competition. At this awards ceremony we will be congratulating the 12 winners.
Thursday 16 July 18:30-19:00
Our Leeds400 Art competition had two categories: the under-16s category was themed ‘How would you like Leeds to be in 400 years?’; the 16s and over category was themed ‘Prospects of Leeds’. We were delighted to receive such a wide variety of entries from the people of Leeds. The artwork we received shows a deep love, pride and fascination with our beautiful, ever-changing city.
Six entries from each category will be exhibited at Leeds Corn Exchange Monday 13 July – Friday 17 July. The exhibition commences on the precise 400th anniversary date of the Leeds Charter being signed.
On Thursday 16 July, when Leeds Corn Exchange is open late, we will be hosting an awards ceremony, where the judges will present the twelve winners with their £50 cash prize. Come and see the artwork and meet the artists and judges!
