Join us in building a better future for Leeds whilst celebrating its history and heritage. Since 1965, Leeds Civic Trust has led efforts to protect and improve the city’s architecture, heritage, transport and greenspaces. We have installed over 200 blue plaques, championed facilities such as the First Direct Arena and continue to support city’s regeneration including the South Bank.
More recently, Leeds Civic Trust has led the creation of spatial vision for the Eastside of Leeds and has spoken out about the city’s heritage at risk including Kirkgate’s collapsed buildings. We are also working with the Mayoral authority to promote public transport improvements and support aspirations for a Mass Transit system for West Yorkshire. We are once again co-organising the Leeds Architecture Awards. Over the past four years, we’ve invested over £100,000 in local community organisations through the Leeds Civic Trust Community Fund, supporting heritage projects in communities across the district.

Corporate membership of the Trust offers several benefits, including:

Some organisations choose to support the Trust by becoming Gold Corporate Members. In addition to all of the benefits offered under the standard membership category, Gold Corporate Members receive an annual invitation to an exclusive lunch with a keynote speaker, and up to three additional places at all of our other events
