We offer a range of volunteering opportunities that can fit around your life and can be as flexible as you wish. We also have a range of opportunities for those looking for a longer more committed volunteering role.

We are currently recruiting for our Blue Plaques Group
With over 190 blue plaques throughout the city, it takes a lot of work to research, prepare and maintain them.
Would you like to help us?
From adopting your local plaque, offering talks and walks, and highlighting the stories behind our plaques, to researching and compiling plaque unveiling handouts - there are many ways of getting involved in one of our most visible activities.
Full training is provided and commitments are flexible.
Regular Group get-togethers are available, but there are also plenty of opportunities for home-based research and practical support (such as plaque maintenance).
