Heritage Open Days Support Grants 2026

Applications for our 2026 Heritage Open Days Support Grants have now closed.

We were delighted to receive so many fantastic applications from organisations, community groups and individuals across Leeds, all with exciting ideas to help bring the city's heritage to life. Thank you to everyone who applied.

We're pleased to be supporting 22 new eventsas part of this year's Heritage Open Days festival, helping to create an even more diverse and engaging programme of free activities for people of all ages.

Heritage Open Days takes place from 11–20 September 2026, celebrating this year's theme, Everyday Histories, alongside Leeds 400. Thanks to our grant programme, visitors can look forward to discovering new stories, exploring hidden places and enjoying creative, family-friendly events across the city.
