Following our AGM join us for a panel discussion about the future of the high street and city centre retail.
There has been much debate about the role of the high street as shopping and working patterns mean that people’s engagement with the high street has changed due to covid, e-commerce and hybrid working. This session will draw on the different experiences of the panel members to consider the future of retail in Leeds.
Panel members include:
Karen Butler, Director of Place Management and Engagement at the Leeds BID
Steve Foster, General Manager Landsec (Owners of The Trinity and White Rose Shopping Centres)
Ian Harvey, Civic Voice Executive Director, interim CEO of the Institute for Place Management and member of the government’s high street task force
Civic Trust director Martin Hamilton will chair the discussion.
