Leeds in Your Lunch Hour

Dr Kevin Grady returns to Leeds Minster for our ‘Leeds in Your Lunch Hour’ lecture series.

The lectures will take place every Wednesday in February 13:00 – 13:45 at Leeds Minster.

  • 7 February: Historic Panoramas and Prospects of Leeds, 1685-1900
  • 14 February: Mr Cossins and His Remarkable ‘New and Exact Plan of the Town of Leedes’ in 1726.
  • 21 February: ‘From the Bazaar & Shambles to John Lewis and Beyond: The Rise and Fall of Leeds Shopping Centres and Department Stores 1825-2024’
  • 28 February: ‘Wellington Street, Wellington Place, and Whitehall Road: The Development and Redevelopment of Leeds Manorial Park, 1066-2024.’
